We’re excited to share a powerful update from our recent mission journey in Mukasasa, Kyenjojo District, Western Uganda. Our team had the incredible opportunity to witness and engage with a community deeply rooted in their unique faith traditions.
In Mukasasa, we encountered a vibrant people group with a profound devotion to Owobushobozi, whom they revere as the almighty deity. Their faith is marked by intense reverence, as they view Owobushobozi as the embodiment of divine power and guidance. This devotion is a significant aspect of their daily lives and spiritual practices.
While we honor their sincerity and dedication to Owobushobozi, we also recognize the deep need for the message of the Gospel to reach these hearts. Our mission is to bring the light of Christ to those who have not yet heard the Good News, offering a path to salvation and eternal hope.
As we continue our efforts to reach the least reached people groups, we ask for your prayers and support. Pray for the people of Mukasasa—that their hearts would be open to the message of Christ. Pray for wisdom and strength for our team as we navigate these mission fields. And, above all, pray that through our collective efforts, many will come to experience the transformative power of the Gospel.
